This is Final Exams Week.

Monday: Period 1 final exam

Tuesday: Periods 2 & 3 final exams

Wednesday: Periods 4 & 5 final exams

Thursday: Periods 6 & 7 final exams

Please be aware that the district finals have not been delivered.  So there may not be a final.

The Youth Center offers tutoring everyday after school.

Make the effort to study/remember and keep up with the assignments.

Grades should be posted online.  Try to see if the ABI grading system is working.  I am trying the ABI system this marking period.  Remember, you must register:

1. Go to the website https://abi.oaklandusd.org/parent

2. Click the "Create New Account" link

3. You will be prompted to verify your email address

4. Follow email confirmation steps to complete successful login

"Email confirmation is sent immediately to you junk/spam mail.  We are working to fix this computer glitch".

To include participation points for daily grade, I will randomly check for participation and give a point.  If students misbehavior at anytime during class, the participation point is zero.  This includes having their electronic on , eating, talking out, etc.

I am in the process of transforming grades in the new school system (abi).  Please be patient as I go through the training process.

The scores on the AAT Readiness column has the following suggested scale:

32 - 45 : You are ready for this class

27 - 31: You made some of little errors

23 - 26: You made alot of errors

0 - 22 : You need to outside tutorial help like your parents, other family members, etc.

For now I will have progress reports the old method.  See the bottom of the page for instructions to access online.

Look at the workbooks and /or textbook website for addition practice.

Sorry for not updating this website.  There was a server malfunction which caused the delay in updating your progress report/grade.  Please be mindful of the technology problems that suddenly occurs such that you are not able to access this website.

Make sure you do good habits in doing your warm-ups,  homework, turning homework in on time, reviewing for exams, and behaving appropriately.  Some students constantly talk out, out of their seat, eat in class, and play with their electronics. 

Some students are misbehaving and/or late to class.  Be aware you will get a referral or a detention.

There are changes at Skyline.  This includes a new bell schedule.
